Celebrities Engagements and Weddings

It looks like a lot of celebrities engagements and marriages have taken place recently ever since Prince William proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Kate Middleton, last November. William proposed to Kate while on a romantic trip in Africa and surprised her with his late mother's engagement ring. Millions of people from all over the world are anticipating what will be known as the "wedding of the century". The royal couple will exchange wedding vows in Westminster Abbey on April 29th almost 30 years to the day when his parents, Prince Charles, and the late Princess Diana were wed.

This past December there were rumors that one of Hollywood's most glamorous couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, were finally going to make it official for their kids sakes however that turned out to be false. One longtime celebrity couple, Joel Madden and Nicole Richie finally became husband and wife at her father's estate a couple of weeks before Christmas after denying rumors for months that they were getting hitched. Other celebrities that have gotten married in December were between actresss JoAnna Garcia and New York Yankees player Nick Swisher who exchanged vows in Palm Beach, Florida and pro wrestler Hulk Hogan who married his fiance, Jennifer McDaniel after dating for 2 years. A few celebrities have been enjoying their marriages since the start of the New Year. Songbird Shania Twain became a married woman again when she tied the knot with her fiance, Frederic Thiebaud, in a surprise ceremony in Puerto Rico on January 1st. Their relationship started off as two good friends who ended up falling in love ever since they bonded over their simultaneous divorce. Valerie Bertinelli, former star of "One Day at a Time", also made it official on New Year's Day when she married her longtime boyfriend, Tom Vitale. Former American Idol contestant, Kellie Pickler, took the plunge on the first day of the year when she wed her fiance, Kyle Jacobs, in a very private ceremony on a beach.

Actress Reese Witherspoon became engaged to her boyfriend, Hollywood agent, Jim Toth after almost a year of dating. Although she had denied rumors of her engagement, singer LeAnn Rimes finally announced that her boyfriend, Eddie Cibrian had offically proposed to her around the holidays. "Black Swan" star, Natalie Portman became engaged to choreographer, Benjamin Millepied, after announcing she is expecting her first child. Football player Tony Romo popped the question to his girlfriend, Candice Crawford, on her 24th birthday after dating since the summer of 2009. Singer Lily Allen got an engagement ring on Christmas day when her boyfriend, Sam Cooper, proposed to her. Coincidentially, former spouses, Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson both announced their engagements to their significant others within a week apart. Nick proposed to longtime girlfriend, Vanessa Minello, with a diamond ring worth over $100,000 while a week later Jessica became engaged to her boyfriend, former football player Eric Johnson after only having dated him a few months. If the trend continues we might be hearing of more celebrities engagements and marriages this year.

Why Do Some Celebrities Welcome the Paparazzi Yet Others Frown On Them

It all has to do with each individual celebrity in that some value their privacy and don't like to be in front of the camera unless they are acting or modeling while others actually crave being in the limelight and what better way than to be photographed and see themselves in tabloids or magazines. Again, it is all a matter of preferences and the Paparazzi should respect that.

what are the best questions to ask a celebrity?

Celebrity Interview

Most celebrities love to talk about themselves however you might want to exercise a little caution when it comes to asking personal questions such as their love life. To be on the safe side, just ask questions about their background and how did they become famous. Also, questions about what they enjoy doing when they are not performing, and what would their fans be surprised to learn about them. If they have children, it is not a bad idea to ask about them as most people enjoy talking about their children as long as the questions aren't too personal.
