Celebrating The Big 4-0 In Style

Jennifer Lopez, aka J.Lo,  turned 40 on July 24th and celebrated New York style.  On the day of her birthday, Jennifer marked her occasion with a dinner party at Greenwich Village's Hotel Griffou then the next day her husband, Marc Anthony threw a big blow-out at midtown Manhattan's Edison Ballroom where the marquee outside the hotel read "An Evening for Lola" which is his nickname for her.  The party was attended by family, friends, and business associates.  Before entering the soiree Jennifer met with excited fans who were standing behind barricades across the street from the hotel.

The mulit-talented celebrity couple who first met in 1999 while working on a song for her album, "On The 6th" and then reconnected in early 2004 when they performed in the film "Shall We Dance" have been married since June 2004 and are parents to seventeen month old fraternal twins, Max and Emme.
