Jessica Simpson who starred with her ex husband, Nick Lachey, in MTV's reality show, "Newlyweds", will star in a new docu-series entitled "The Price of Beauty" which will premiere on VH1 in 2010.

This new reality show will start filming in July as the camera follows Jessica around the globe while she investigates what everyday women in different cultures go through to attain beauty and learns what they feel makes them beautiful. She will also be participating in some of their beauty regimen in the process. While doing research for the show, Jessica has found some of the things that women will do pretty shocking, but thinks it will be interesting and fun to try them out....."I am really looking forward to discovering how beauty is perceived in different cultures and participating in some of the crazy things people do to feel beautiful. I know we will all learn a lot on this jorney and I am so excited that VH1 is coming along on what I'm sure will be a wild ride."
